A rasa (Sanskrit: रस, Malayalam: രാസ്യം) literally means juice, essence or taste; the ‘flavour’ of something that evokes an emotion or feeling that cannot be described.
My hope is that you experience a feeling or emotion that cannot be described: the ‘essence’ or ‘bliss’ that is your authentic self.

When coming for a treatment, you will not be rushed on and off the table as appointments are spaced to allow time to discuss your needs with you before each session, complete your full session and allow some time at the end for you to relax before getting up.

It wasn’t until a major life change a few years ago that I was able to realise that massage was something special that I wanted to do in my life.
My background is in classical music (singing) and business administration, but in 2014, after some personal health issues (depression, anxiety, panic attacks, to name a few), I began the shift towards finding a balance in my work/home/personal life – with massage being the catalyst.
I love being able to hold space for someone to just ‘be’ and experience their body – without shame or judgement. We are so touch hungry in our society today, that to be able to connect with another is a very special (and humbling) experience.
I have explored various forms of massage, meditation, energy healing, reflexology, kinesiology and other healing practices in my own healing journey and continue to experience, explore and learn.
I firmly believe in music and movement as a healing force for personal growth and transformation.
A new love is sound healing using gorgeous, grounding Tibetan singing bowls and pure crystal singing bowls.
I currently have 20 (and no doubt will be buying more – they’re addictive!) and love giving treatments where you experience the vibrations on and around your body. Even better is a combined massage and sound healing … absolute bliss.
When I am not in the studio, I am either singing in local singing group LUMINA
Vocal Ensemble, listening to music (and Grooving), reading, gardening (and getting better) or spending time with my children and our cat, Tia.
I love dancing and have studied ballroom, latin, west coast swing and lindy hop. My current favourite is Body Groove - a simple and fun way to dance the way you want to.
I see dancing as a metaphor for life and have found several quotes to support this idea 🙂
